George Smith, former chairman, Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM), and not-for-profit guru. On 2 March 2012, George sadly lost his battle with Motor Neurone Disease. A memorial service to celebrate George's life and the immense contribution he made to fundraising communication will be held in London this summer.
